एक कलस भरि आनहिं पानी। अँचइअ नाथ कहहिं मृदु बानी॥ सुनि प्रिय बचन प्रीति अति देखी। राम कृपाल सुसील बिसेषी॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

eka kalasa bhari ānahiṃ pānī। aṃcaiā nātha kahahiṃ mṛdu bānī॥ suni priya bachana prīti ati dekhī। rāma kṛpāla susīla biseṣī॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Some bring a pot full of water and, in soft words, say, 'O Lord, please sip this water.' Hearing their loving words and seeing their great affection, merciful and exceedingly gentle Rama—
