चित्रकूट सुचि थल तीरथ बन। खग मृग सर सरि निर्झर गिरिगन॥ प्रभु पद अंकित अवनि बिसेषी। आयसु होइ त आवौं देखी॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

citrakūṭa suci thala tīratha bana। khaga mṛga sara sari nirjhara girigan॥ prabhu pada aṅkita avani biseṣī। āyasu hoi ta āvāuṃ dekhī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

If you permit, I wish to go and behold Chitrakoot—the sacred places, forests, birds and beasts, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and hills—and especially the land marked by your footprints.
