छत्रि जाति रघुकुल जनमु राम अनुग जगु जान। लातहुँ मारें चढ़ति सिर नीच को धूरि समान॥ २२९ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
chatri jāti raghukula janamu rāma anuga jagu jāna। lātahuṃ māreṃ caṛhati sira nīca ko dhūri samāna॥ 229 ॥
Meaning
The world knows that I was born in the Kshatriya race, in the Raghu line, and that I am Rama's follower. [Then how can this be endured?] Who is lower than dust? Yet even dust rises to the head when kicked.
