बिलपहिं बिकल भरत दोउ भाई। कौसल्याँ लिए हृदयँ लगाई॥ भाँति अनेक भरतु समुझाए। कहि बिबेकमय बचन सुनाए॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bilapahiṃ bikala bharata dou bhāī। kausalyā̃ lie hṛdayã lagāī॥ bhā̃ti aneka bharatu samujhāe। kahi bibekamaya bacana sunāe॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Bharat and Shatrughna, the two brothers, became overcome and began to lament. Then Kausalya embraced them to her heart. She comforted Bharat in many ways and spoke wise words to him.
