भरतहुँ मातु सकल समुझाईं। कहि पुरान श्रुति कथा सुहाईं॥ छल बिहीन सुचि सरल सुबानी। बोले भरत जोरि जुग पानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bharatahuṃ mātu sakala samujhāīṃ। kahi purāna śruti kathā suhāīṃ॥ chala bihīna suci sarala subānī। bole bharata jori juga pānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Bharat too consoled all the mothers, relating lovely stories from the Purāṇas and the Vedas. With deceitless, pure, simple, and gentle speech, Bharat spoke with folded hands.
