बिबुध बिपिन जहँ लगि जग माहीं। देखि रामबनु सकल सिहाहीं॥ सुरसरि सरसइ दिनकर कन्या। मेकलसुता गोदावरि धन्या॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bibudha bipina jahaṃ lagi jaga māhīṃ। dekhi rāma-banu sakala sihāhīṃ॥ surasari sarasai dinakara kanyā। mekalasutā godāvari dhanyā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
All the divine groves in the world look with envy at Rama’s forest. Ganga, Saraswati, Yamuna the sun’s daughter, Narmada the daughter of the Mekala hills, Godavari, and other sacred rivers are blessed indeed.
