करि केहरि कपि कोल कुरंगा। बिगतबैर बिचरहिं सब संगा॥ फिरत अहेर राम छबि देखी। होहिं मुदित मृगबृंद बिसेषी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kari kehari kapi kola kuraṅgā। bigatabaira bicarahiṃ saba saṃgā॥ phirata ahera rāma chabi dekhī। hohiṃ mudita mṛgabṛnda viseṣī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Elephants, lions, monkeys, boars, and deer—all roam together, having abandoned enmity. While out hunting, when they see the beauty of Rama, the herds of animals become especially delighted.
