बालमीकि मन आनँदु भारी। मंगल मूरति नयन निहारी॥ तब कर कमल जोरि रघुराई। बोले बचन श्रवन सुखदाई॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bālamīki mana ānaṃdu bhārī। maṅgala mūrati nayana nihārī॥ taba kara kamala jori raghurāī। bole bacana sravana sukhadāī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
[Sitting near Lord Rama and beholding his auspicious form with his eyes,] Valmiki felt immense joy in his heart. Then Lord of the Raghu clan folded his lotus-like hands and spoke words that gave delight to the ears:
