बाल सखा सुनि हियँ हरषाहीं। मिलि दस पाँच राम पहिं जाहीं॥ प्रभु आदरहिं प्रेमु पहिचानी। पूँछहिं कुसल खेम मृदु बानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bāla sakhā suni hiyaṃ haraṣāhīṃ। mili dasa pāṃca rāma pahiṃ jāhīṃ॥ prabhu ādarahiṃ premu pahicānī। pūṃchahiṃ kusala khema mṛdu bānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Hearing the news of the coronation, Rama's boyhood friends rejoice in their hearts. A group of ten or five go to Rama. Recognizing their love, the Lord honors them and gently asks after their welfare.
