तीतिर लावक पदचर जूथा। बरनि न जाइ मनोज बरूथा॥ रथ गिरि सिला दुंदुभीं झरना। चातक बंदी गुन गन बरना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tītira lāvaka padacara jūthā। barani na jāi manoja barūthā॥ ratha giri silā duṃdubhīṃ jharanā। cātaka bandī guna gana baranā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

The tītara and lāvaka birds are like foot soldiers. The army of Love cannot be described. The rocks of the mountains are like chariots, and the waterfalls are like kettledrums. The chataka birds are bards reciting a host of praises.
