तेइ तृन हरित चरै जब गाई। भाव बच्छ सिसु पाइ पेन्हाई॥ नोइ निबृत्ति पात्र बिस्वासा। निर्मल मन अहीर निज दासा॥ ६ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tei tṛna harita carai jaba gāī। bhāva baccha sisu pāi penhāī॥ noi nivṛtti pātra bisvāsā। nirmala mana ahīra nija dāsā॥ 6 ॥
Meaning
Those green grasses of righteous conduct should be eaten by that cow; and after obtaining the tender calf of feeling, it should be nurtured. Renunciation is the tether rope, faith is the milking vessel, and the pure mind, which is itself obedient, is the milkman.
