सुनु खगेस रघुपति प्रभुताई। कहउँ जथामति कथा सुहाई॥ जेहि बिधि मोह भयउ प्रभु मोही। सोउ सब कथा सुनावउँ तोही॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sunu khagesa raghupati prabhutāī। kahauṃ jathāmati kathā suhāī॥ jehi bidhi moha bhayau prabhu mohī। sou saba kathā sunāvauṃ tohī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Listen, O king of birds, to the majesty of Raghupati. I shall recount a pleasing story according to my understanding. O Lord, I shall also tell you the whole account of how delusion came upon me.
