पुर सोभा कछु बरनि न जाई। बाहेर नगर परम रुचिराई॥ देखत पुरी अखिल अघ भागा। बन उपबन बापिका तड़ागा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

pura sobhā kachu barani na jāī। bāhera nagara parama rucirāī॥ dekhata purī akhila agha bhāgā। bana upabana bāpikā taḍāgā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

The beauty of the city cannot be fully described. Even outside the city there is supreme loveliness. At the sight of the holy city of Ayodhya, all sins flee away. There are forests, groves, ponds, and lakes adorning it.
