प्रथम तिलक बसिष्ट मुनि कीन्हा। पुनि सब बिप्रन्ह आयसु दीन्हा॥ सुत बिलोकि हरषीं महतारी। बार बार आरती उतारी॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
prathama tilaka basiṣṭa muni kīnhā। puni saba bipranha āyasu dīnhā॥ suta biloki haraṣīṃ mahatārī। bāra bāra āratī utārī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
First Sage Vasistha performed the tilak. Then he gave all the Brahmins permission to do the tilak. Seeing the son seated on the throne, the mothers were filled with joy and waved the lamp again and again.
