केकीकण्ठाभनीलं सुरवरविलसद्विप्रपादाब्जचिह्नं शोभाढ्यं पीतवस्त्रं सरसिजनयनं सर्वदा सुप्रसन्नम्। पाणौ नाराचचापं कपिनिकरयुतं बन्धुना सेव्यमानं नौमीड्यं जानकीशं रघुवरमनिशं पुष्पकारूढरामम्॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kekīkaṇṭhābhanīlaṃ suravaravilasadviprapādābjacihnaṃ śobhāḍhyaṃ pītavastraṃ sarasijanayanaṃ sarvadā suprasannam। pāṇau nārācacāpaṃ kapinikarayutaṃ bandhunā sevyamānaṃ naumīḍyaṃ jānakīśaṃ raghuvaramaniśaṃ puṣpakārūḍharāmam॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
I constantly bow to Rama, the husband of Janaki, best of the Raghus, mounted on the Pushpaka विमान, dark-blue like the peacock’s neck, adorned with the marks of the lotus feet of the foremost among gods and Brahmins, splendid, clad in yellow garments, lotus-eyed, ever radiant with joy, holding arrows and bow in His hands, accompanied by hosts of monkeys, and attended by Lakshmana.
