कमठ पीठ जामहिं बरु बारा। बंध्यासुत बरु काहुहि मारा॥ फूलहिं नभ बरु बहुबिधि फूला। जीव न लह सुख हरि प्रतिकूला॥ ८ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

kamaṭha pīṭha jāmahiṃ baru bārā। baṃdhyāsuta baru kāhuhī mārā॥ phūlahiṃ nabha baru bahubidhi phūlā। jīva na laha sukha hari pratikūlā॥ 8 ॥

Meaning

A tortoise may grow hair on its back, a child of a barren woman may kill someone, and flowers may bloom in the sky; but a being turned away from Hari cannot attain happiness.
