कहि दंडक बन पावनताई। गीध मइत्री पुनि तेहिं गाई॥ पुनि प्रभु पंचबटीं कृत बासा। भंजी सकल मुनिन्ह की त्रासा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kahi daṇḍaka bana pāvanatāī। gīdha maitrī puni tehiṃ gāī॥ puni prabhu pañcabaṭīṃ kṛta bāsā। bhaṃjī sakala muninha kī trāsā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
He spoke of the sanctity of Dandaka forest and then recounted the friendship with the vulture king. He next told how the Lord dwelt in Panchavati and dispelled all the sages' fear.
