जय राम रमारमनं समनं। भवताप भयाकुल पाहि जनं॥ अवधेस सुरेस रमेस बिभो। सरनागत मागत पाहि प्रभो॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jaya rāma ramāramanaṃ samanaṃ। bhavatāpa bhayākula pāhi janaṃ॥ avadhesa suresa ramesa bibho। saranāgata māgata pāhi prabho॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Victory to Rama, the delight of Rama (Lakshmi), the remover of all afflictions! Hail to you; protect this distressed being, troubled by the heat of worldly suffering and fear. O Lord of Ayodhya, Lord of the gods, Lord of Lakshmi, O all-pervading One! I, a refugee, ask only this: O Lord, protect me.
