जब ते राम प्रताप खगेसा। उदित भयउ अति प्रबल दिनेसा॥ पूरि प्रकास रहेउ तिहुँ लोका। बहुतेन्ह सुख बहुतन मन सोका॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

jaba te rāma pratāpa khagesā। udita bhayau ati prabala dinesā॥ pūri prakāsa raheu tihuṃ lokā। bahutenha sukha bahutana mana sokā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

[Kakabhushundi says:] O king of birds, Garuda! Since the very powerful sun of Rama’s glory rose, the three worlds have been filled with full light. This brought joy to many and sorrow to many hearts.
