जाने ते छीजहिं कछु पापी। नास न पावहिं जन परितापी॥ बिषय कुपथ्य पाइ अंकुरे। मुनिहु हृदयँ का नर बापुरे॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jāne te chījahim kachu pāpī। nāsa na pāvahim jana paritāpī॥ biṣaya kupathya pāi aṃkure। munihu hṛdayaṃ kā nara bāpure॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
When these sinful afflictions are recognized, they do become somewhat weakened, but they do not perish. Nourished by the evil food of sense objects, they even sprout in the hearts of sages; then what can be said of poor ordinary human beings?
