गुन कृत सन्यपात नहिं केही। कोउ न मान मद तजेउ निबेही॥ जोबन ज्वर केहि नहिं बलकावा। ममता केहि कर जस न नसावा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
guna kṛta sanyapāta nahiṃ kehī। kou na māna mada tajeu nibehī॥ jobana jvara kehiṃ nahiṃ balakāvā। mamatā kehi kara jasa na nasāvā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Who has not been afflicted by the conjunction of the qualities [rajas, tamas, etc.]? There is no one whom pride and arrogance have left untouched. Whom has the fever of youth not driven out of bounds? Whose fame has not been destroyed by attachment?
