गरुड़ महाग्यानी गुन रासी। हरि सेवक अति निकट निवासी॥ तेहिं केहि हेतु काग सन जाई। सुनी कथा मुनि निकर बिहाई॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
garuḍa mahāgyānī guna rāsī। hari sevaka ati nikaṭa nivāsī॥ tehiṃ kehi hetu kāga sana jāī। sunī kathā muni nikara bihāī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Garuda is truly a great sage, a treasury of virtues, a servant of Hari, and one who dwells very near Him. Why did he leave the company of sages and go to the crow to hear the Lord’s story?
