ब्रह्म ग्यान बिनु नारि नर कहहिं न दूसरि बात। कौड़ी लागि लोभ बस करहिं बिप्र गुर घात॥ ९९ (क) ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

brahma gyāna binu nāri nara kahahiṃ na dūsari bāta। kauḍī lāgi lobha basa karahiṃ bipra gura ghāta॥ 99 (a) ॥

Meaning

Without knowledge of Brahman, men and women speak of nothing else, yet under the sway of greed they commit the killing of Brahmins and gurus for a mere cowrie.
