साखामृग कै बड़ि मनुसाई। साखा तें साखा पर जाई॥ नाघि सिंधु हाटकपुर जारा। निसिचर गन बधि बिपिन उजारा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sākhāmṛga kai baṛi manusāī। sākhā teṃ sākhā para jāī॥ nāghi sindhu hāṭakapura jārā। nisicara gana badhi bipina ujārā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

For a monkey, the great feat is simply to go from one branch to another. As for me, I crossed the ocean, burned the golden city, and after killing the demons, laid waste to the grove.
