जौं रघुबीर होति सुधि पाई। करते नहिं बिलंबु रघुराई॥ राम बान रबि उएँ जानकी। तम बरूथ कहँ जातुधान की॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jauṃ raghubīra hoti sudhi pāī। karate nahiṃ bilaṃbu raghurāī॥ rāma bāna rabi ueṃ jānakī। tama barūtha kahuṃ jātudhāna kī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
If Raghubir had received the news, Raghurai would not have delayed. O Janaki, when the sunlike arrows of Rama rise, what darkness can remain for the demon hosts?
