हरिजन जानि प्रीति अति गाढ़ी। सजल नयन पुलकावलि बाढ़ी॥ बूड़त बिरह जलधि हनुमाना। भयहु तात मो कहुँ जलजाना॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

harijana jāni prīti ati gāṛhī। sajala nayana pulakāvali bāṛhī॥ būḍata biraha jaladhi hanumānā। bhayahu tāta mo kahaṃ jalajānā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

Knowing him to be a servant of God, she felt deep and intense affection. Her eyes filled with tears of love, and her body thrilled with joy. “O dear Hanuman,” Sita said, “you have been a boat to me as I drown in the ocean of separation.”
