अब कहु कुसल जाउँ बलिहारी। अनुज सहित सुख भवन खरारी॥ कोमलचित कृपाल रघुराई। कपि केहि हेतु धरी निठुराई॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

aba kahu kusala jāuṃ balihārī। anuja sahita sukha bhavana kharārī॥ komalacita kṛpāla raghurāī। kapi kehi hetu dharī niṭhurāī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

I am overpowered with gratitude; now tell me of the welfare of the Lord of happiness, together with His younger brother Lakshmana. Rama is soft-hearted and compassionate. Then, O Hanuman, for what reason has He assumed such sternness?
