उमा काल मर जाकीं ईछा। सो प्रभु जन कर प्रीति परीछा॥ सुनु सरबग्य चराचर नायक। प्रनतपाल सुर मुनि सुखदायक॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

umā kāla mara jākīṃ īchā। so prabhu jana kara prīti parīchā॥ sunu sarabagya carācara nāyaka। pranatapāla sura muni sukhadāyaka॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

[Shiva says:] O Uma, He whose mere wish can even make Death die is now testing the devotion of His servant. [Vibhishana says:] Hear, O all-knowing Lord, ruler of all that moves and does not move; protector of the surrendered; giver of joy to gods and sages!
