सुनु सुरपति कपि भालु हमारे। परे भूमि निसिचरन्हि जे मारे॥ मम हित लागि तजे इन्ह प्राना। सकल जिआउ सुरेस सुजाना॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sunu surapati kapi bhālu hamāre। pare bhūmi nisicaranhi je māre॥ mama hita lāgi taje inha prānā। sakala jiaau sureśa sujānā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

O king of the gods, listen: our monkeys and bears lie on the ground, slain by the demons. They gave up their lives for my sake. O wise lord of the gods, revive them all.
