सो नर क्यों दसकंध बालि बध्यो जेहिं एक सर। बीसहुँ लोचन अंध धिग तव जन्म कुजाति जड़॥ ३३ (क) ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

so nara kyoṃ dasakaṃdha bāli badhyo jehiṃ eka sara। bīsahuṃ locana aṃdha dhiga tava janma kujāti jaḍa॥ 33 (a) ॥

Meaning

O ten-necked one, how can the one who slew Bali with a single arrow be a mere man? O vile-born fool, O dull one, with twenty eyes you are still blind. Shame on your birth!
