सभय देव करुनानिधि जान्यो। श्रवन प्रजंत सरासनु तान्यो॥ बिसिख निकर निसिचर मुख भरेऊ। तदपि महाबल भूमि न परेऊ॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sabhaya deva karuṇānidhi jānyo। śravana prajanta sarāsanu tānyo॥ bisikha nikara nisicara mukha bhareū। tadapi mahābala bhūmi na pareū॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

The compassionate Lord saw that the gods were frightened. Then He drew His bow up to His ear and filled the demon's mouth with a shower of arrows. Yet that mighty warrior did not fall to the ground.
