रघुपति बिरह सबिष सर भारी। तकि तकि मार बार बहु मारी॥ ऐसेहुँ दुख जो राख मम प्राना। सोइ बिधि ताहि जिआव न आना॥ ५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
raghupati biraha sabiṣa sara bhārī। taki taki māra bāra bahu mārī॥ aisehuṃ dukha jo rākh mama prānā। soi bidhi tāhi jīvāva na ānā॥ 5 ॥
Meaning
The great, venomous arrows of separation from Sri Raghunath keep striking me again and again, killing me many times over, and yet they keep my life going even in such suffering. It is that same fate alone that is keeping him (Ravana) alive; no one else.
