काटे सिर नभ मारग धावहिं। जय जय धुनि करि भय उपजावहिं॥ कहँ लछिमन सुग्रीव कपीसा। कहँ रघुबीर कोसलाधीसा॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kāṭe sira nabha māraga dhāvahiṃ। jaya jaya dhuni kari bhaya upajāvahiṃ॥ kahaṃ lachimana sugrīva kapīsā। kahaṃ raghubīra kosalādhīsā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The severed heads rush through the sky, raising cries of victory and spreading fear. Where are Lakshmana and Sugriva, lord of the monkeys? Where is Rama, lord of Kosala?
