कह कपि तव गुन गाहकताई। सत्य पवनसुत मोहि सुनाई॥ बन बिधंसि सुत बधि पुर जारा। तदपि न तेहिं कछु कृत अपकारा॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaha kapi tava guna gāhakatāī। satya pavanasuta mohi sunāī॥ bana bidhaṃsi suta badhi pura jārā। tadapi na tehiṃ kachu kṛta apakārā॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Angada said, 'Hanuman told me of your true appreciation of merit. He destroyed the Ashoka grove, killed your son, and burned the city. Yet, because of your generous nature, you took it that he had done you no harm at all.'
