जहँ तहँ भागि चले कपि रीछा। बिसरी सबहि जुद्ध कै ईछा॥ सो कपि भालु न रन महँ देखा। कीन्हेसि जेहि न प्रान अवसेषा॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

jahāṃ tahāṃ bhāgi cale kapi rīchā। bisarī sabahi juddha kai īchā॥ so kapi bhālu na rana mahaṃ dekhā। kīnhesi jehi na prāna avaseṣā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

The bears and monkeys fled in every direction. Everyone forgot the desire to fight. There was not a single monkey or bear seen on the battlefield whom he had not reduced to only the barest remnant of life.
