इहाँ प्रात जागे रघुराई। पूछा मत सब सचिव बोलाई॥ कहहु बेगि का करिअ उपाई। जामवंत कह पद सिरु नाई॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

ihāṃ prāta jāge raghurāī। pūchā mata saba saciva bolāī॥ kahahu begi kā kari’a upāī। jāmawaṃta kaha pada sira nāī॥ 1 ॥

Here, at daybreak on Mount Suvel, Shri Raghunath awoke and summoned all the ministers to ask their counsel: 'Tell me quickly, what should be done now?' Jambavan bowed his head to Shri Ram's feet and said—
