धन्य कीस जो निज प्रभु काजा। जहँ तहँ नाचइ परिहरि लाजा॥ नाचि कूदि करि लोग रिझाई। पति हित करइ धर्म निपुनाई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dhanya kīsa jo nija prabhu kājā। jahã tahã nācai parihari lājā॥ nāci kūdi kari loga rijhāī। pati hita karai dharma nipunāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Blessed is the monkey who, for his own lord's sake, dances everywhere without shame. By dancing and leaping, he delights others and serves his master's good. This is his skill in duty.
