बीर परहिं जनु तीर तरु मज्जा बहु बह फेन। कादर देखि डरहिं तहँ सुभटन्ह के मन चेन॥ ८७ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bīra parahim̐ janu tīra taru majjā bahu baha phena। kādara dekhi ḍarahim̐ tahaṃ subhaṭanha ke mana cena॥ 87 ॥
Meaning
The warriors are falling to the ground as if trees on a riverbank were being uprooted. Much marrow is flowing; that is the foam. The cowards are frightened by it, but the hearts of brave warriors find delight there.
