भय आतुर कपि भागन लागे। जद्यपि उमा जीतिहहिं आगे॥ कोउ कह कहँ अंगद हनुमंता। कहँ नल नील दुबिद बलवंता॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bhaya ātura kapi bhāgana lāge। jadyapi umā jītihahiṃ āge॥ kou kah kahṃ aṃgada hanumaṃtā। kahṃ nala nīla dubida balavaṃtā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

[Shiva says—] The monkeys, filled with fear and panic, began to flee, though, O Uma, they will prevail in the end. Some ask: Where are Angad and Hanuman? Where are the mighty Nal, Neel, and Dwivid?
