पंक न रेनु सोह असि धरनी। नीति निपुन नृप कै जसि करनी॥ जल संकोच बिकल भइँ मीना। अबुध कुटुंबी जिमि धनहीना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

paṃka na remu soha asi dharanī। nīti nipuna nṛpa kai jasi karanī॥ jala saṃkocha bikala bhaiṃ mīnā। abudha kuṭuṃbī jimi dhanahīnā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

There is neither mud nor dust, so the earth shines with a purity like the conduct of a wise and skillful king. As the water recedes, the fish grow distressed, just as a foolish householder becomes troubled without wealth.
