तदपि जथा श्रुत जसि मति मोरी। कहिहउँ देखि प्रीति अति तोरी॥ उमा प्रस्न तव सहज सुहाई। सुखद संतसंमत मोहि भाई॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tadapi jathā śruta jasi mati morī। kahihauṃ dekhi prīti ati torī॥ umā prasna tava sahaja suhāī। sukhada saṃtasamamata mohi bhāī॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Still, seeing your deep devotion, I shall speak according to what I have heard and according to my own understanding. O Uma, your question is naturally lovely, pleasing, and approved by the saints, and I very much like it.
