तब जनमेउ षटबदन कुमारा। तारकु असुरु समर जेहिं मारा॥ आगम निगम प्रसिद्ध पुराना। षन्मुख जन्मु सकल जग जाना॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
taba janmeu ṣaṭabadana kumārā। tāraku asuru samara jehiṃ mārā॥ āgama nigama prasiddha purānā। ṣaṇmukha janmu sakala jaga jānā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Then the six-faced prince was born, the one who killed the demon Taraka in battle. In the scriptures, Vedas, and Puranas, the story of Shanmukha’s birth is famous, and the whole world knows it.
