स्याम गात कल कंज बिलोचन। जो मारीच सुभुज मदु मोचन॥ कौसल्या सुत सो सुख खानी। नामु रामु धनु सायक पानी॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
syāma gāta kala kanja bilocana। jo mārīca subhuja madu mocana॥ kausalyā suta so sukha khānī। nāmu rāmu dhanu sāyaka pānī॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
He whose body is dark and whose eyes are lovely like lotuses, who crushes the pride of Maricha and Subahu and is a mine of bliss, and who holds bow and arrows in His hands—He is the son of Kaushalya; His name is Rama.
