स्वायंभू मनु अरु सतरूपा। जिन्ह तें भै नरसृष्टि अनूपा॥ दंपति धरम आचरन नीका। अजहुँ गाव श्रुति जिन्ह कै लीका॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
svāyaṃbhū manu aru satarūpā। jinha teṃ bhai narasṛṣṭi anūpā॥ daṃpati dharama ācaraṇa nīkā। ajahuṃ gāva śruti jinha kai līkā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Svayambhuva Manu and Satarupa were the source of this incomparable human creation. The conduct and righteousness of that husband and wife were excellent; even today, the Vedas sing of their path and conduct.
