सुत समूह जन परिजन नाती। गनै को पार निसाचर जाती॥ सेन बिलोकि सहज अभिमानी। बोला बचन क्रोध मद सानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
suta samūha jana parijana nātī। ganai ko pāra nisācara jātī॥ sena biloki sahaja abhimānī। bolā bacana krodha mada sānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
There were heaps upon heaps of sons, grandsons, relatives, and servants. As for all the races of demons, who could ever count them? Seeing his army, Ravana—naturally proud—spoke with words steeped in anger and pride.
