सीय चलत ब्याकुल पुरबासी। होहिं सगुन सुभ मंगल रासी॥ भूसुर सचिव समेत समाजा। संग चले पहुँचावन राजा॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sīya calata byākula purabāsī। hohiṃ saguna subha maṃgala rāsī॥ bhūsura saciva sameta samājā। saṃga cale pahuṃcāvana rājā॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

When Sita set out, the people of the city of Janakpur became distressed. Auspicious signs appeared in abundance. The king, together with the Brahmins and ministers, went along to see her off.
