बहुबिधि भूप सुता समुझाईं। नारिधरमु कुलरीति सिखाईं॥ दासीं दास दिए बहुतेरे। सुचि सेवक जे प्रिय सिय केरे॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bahubidhi bhūpa sutā samujhāīṃ। nāridharamu kularīti sikhāīṃ॥ dāsīṃ dāsa die bahutere। suci sevaka je priya siya kere॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
In many ways the king instructed his daughters and taught them the duties of a woman and the customs of the family. He gave them many maidservants and servants—pure attendants who were dear to Sita.
