समुझावत सब सचिव सयाने। कीन्ह बिचारु न अवसर जाने॥ बारहिं बार सुता उर लाईं। सजि सुंदर पालकीं मगाईं॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
samujhāvata saba saciva syāne। kīnha bicāru na avasara jāne॥ bārahiṃ bāra sutā ura lāīṃ। saji sundara pālakīṃ magāīṃ॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The wise ministers kept trying to counsel him. But the king, not considering the moment for grief, made his decision. Again and again he embraced his daughters and had beautifully decorated palanquins brought.
