संभु चरित सुनि सरस सुहावा। भरद्वाज मुनि अति सुखु पावा॥ बहु लालसा कथा पर बाढ़ी। नयनन्हि नीरु रोमावलि ठाढ़ी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sambhu carita suni sarasa suhāvā। bharadvāja muni ati sukhu pāvā॥ bahu lālasā kathā para bāṛhī। nayananhi nīru romāvali ṭhāṛhī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Hearing the sweet and delightful story of Shiva, sage Bharadwaj was greatly pleased. His longing to hear the tale increased greatly. Tears filled his eyes, and the hairs of his body stood on end.
