समन पाप संताप सोक के। प्रिय पालक परलोक लोक के॥ सचिव सुभट भूपति बिचार के। कुंभज लोभ उदधि अपार के॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

samana pāpa santāpa soka ke। priya pālaka paraloka loka ke॥ saciva subhaṭa bhūpati bicāra ke। kumbhaja lobha udadhi apāra ke॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

He destroys sin, suffering, and sorrow, and lovingly sustains both this world and the next. He is the warrior minister of the king called discernment, and like sage Agastya, He dries up the boundless ocean of greed.
